Genevieve Browne

Genevieve Browne was Studio Administrator from July 2008 to August 2009. She is now a Junior Fellow in Visual Culture at UWE and currently artist-in-resident in India.

Having graduated from Winchester School of Art specialising in Digitally Printed Textiles, Genevieve moved to Bristol in search of creative wisdom and set up her own business selling Contemporary Cravats. More recently she has organised community art projects in Wiltshire for the Big Draw and the Calne Music & Arts Festival, designed logos, websites and has been working on bespoke textile projects. Genevieve is currently studying MA Multi-disciplinary Printmaking at UWE part time whilst also being the Junior Fellow in Visual Culture at UWE. She took part in Light Up Bristol both in ’06 and ’07, producing a piece which now hangs at the back of PMStudio.
