Shirin Packham | Studio Resident

Shirin joined the studio's vibrant community as Studio Administrator in September 2009. She acts as PM Studio's first point of contact; any questions about our residents, projects or events? Don't hesitate dropping her a line:

Prior to her current position, Shirin worked for Watershed, Bath University and taught German at HBOS. She graduated with a first degree in Media and Communication from the University of Augsburg and has been tutoring and lecturing in the areas of war in cinema, violence in media and film classification. She is currently working on her PhD dissertation comparing visual and political strategies in combat films.

Sometimes Shirin misses the Bavarian mountains, the snow and the cows, but mostly she is very much in love with crazy Bristol.
