Last night the Pervasive Media Studio took home the Media Innovation Award for Outstanding Contribution to Innovation. The awards, which once again celebrated the innovative use of screen-based media, were presented at a glittering gala at the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. Amongst the lucky winners were also studio residents Simon Games who won the Award for best Mobile Communications for Moosehunt which was part of last year’s igfest.
MIA stated that "the quality of entries was very high and the fact that the short-listed companies come from all over the region, from Poole in Dorset to Falmouth in Cornwall and from Bristol to Plymouth proves that the South West region is a centre of excellence for media and design."
