Sky Orchestra delivers music to sleeping people from the sky. Created by artist Luke Jerram with composition from Dan Jones, the balloons take off at dawn and dusk with speakers attached, each one playing elements of one musical score, creating a massive audio landscape.

While a visiting professor at ITU Copenhagen for six weeks in October & November, Tim Kindberg started a project on Crowd Computer Interaction. Among the main motivations were the needs of Occupy and other protest movements; plus interest in the extent to which riots and looting were coordinated and documented in the Summer of '11 using mobile phones.

FEED is a multi-touch music app being developed by inter-disciplinary organisation Incidental.
The app enables complex, rich manipulation of a “live feed” of sound, drawn from the inbuilt microphone of an ipad or an audio file loaded into the app, enabling users to create complex real-time compositions from a range of sources, from musical inputs (such as a voice or orchestra) to spoken word or “found sound” on the streets of a city.
