The SXSW Interactive Festival celebrates the creativity and passion behind the coolest new media technologies. In addition to panel sessions that cover everything from web design to bootstrapping to social networks, attendees make new business connections at the three-day Trade Show & Exhibition.
With a focus on online services, gaming and mobile, South by Southwest is an invaluable opportunity to connect with a wider international audience of delegates working in new and emerging technologies.
Clare Reddington, Director of iShed and Pervasive Media Studio leaves on 11 March to attend the Festival and present a panel "Pervasive Games and Playful Experiences: Rendering the Real World". Clare is part of The Umbrella Group, Arts Council England's delegation of UK artists and producers, and is executive producing The Tweeture in Austin.
Also at SXSWi will be Mike Bennett, Chief Executive of Bristol Media, to present 'From The Kitchen Table To $Million Business', a compelling account of how to take an idea, through to start-up and turn it into a successful business.
This is the third year they have attended the Festival and they will both be blogging their thoughts, impressions and ideas here.
