Luke Jerram's global installation arrives in Bristol.

From the 4th of September for three weeks, Luke Jerram presents his art installation Play me I’m Yours in Bristol. 15 pianos have been positioned across different locations all over town and they can be played by any member of the public to enjoy. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open – for example around Queen Square, Brandon Hill and Portland Square. (For full list of locations, click here)

Questioning the ownership and rules of public space, Play Me I'm Yours is a provocation, inviting the public to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment. Play me I’m Yours has been touring the globe since March 2008 and has arrived in Bristol to mark the Colston Hall Opening Celebration and Neighbourhood Arts Team.

Luke Jerram is currently working from the Pervasive Media Studio. The main project website www.streetpianos.com was made for the public to post their comments, share their stories connect the street pianos and their communities all over the world.
