On October the 8th 2009, Thought Den hosted a training session for the BBC's newest and brightest design recruits.

The session was held at the Pervasive Media Studio and involved talks from some of the Studio's star residents: PM Studio Research Director Phil Stenton and Tom Melamed - one of the researchers developing the mscape technology launched by HP Labs - explained the importance of designing for context, while artist and inventor Luke Jerram talked about his wonderfully varied projects Sky Orchestra and Play Me I'm Yours that are currently touring the world. The event also included discussions around what pervasive and locative media is, isn't and can be as well as trying out different pervasive media applications and interfaces.

Former studio residents Thought Den combine playfulness, clear communication and the right technology. Find out more about them at: http://www.thoughtden.co.uk/
