Mercurial Wrestler joined the Studio in 2010 when they developed The Magician's Desk as part of iShed's Artists Residencies scheme. They were commissioned through the Arts Council's Digital Futures fund to research the use of pervasive media to recreate magical illusions from the 1860s to the 1920s.

Magna Mysteria is Mercurial Wrestler's current project which has been funded by Arts Council England, commissioned by Bristol Old Vic and Bristol City Council’s Neighbourhood Arts Team and is working in partnership with Watershed, Pervasive Media Studio and Theatre Bristol.
